Duff McKagan discussed his new book “How to Be a Man (And Other Illusions)” with former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic at Seattle’s Neptune Theatre this past weekend. In the midst of all this, the two broke out in a rendition of the Guns N’ Roses classic, “Sweet Child ‘O Mine.”
Krist played the accordion, of course, holding down the melody and the main riffing. McKagan handled the low-end in style to the delight of those in attendance (which included guitarist Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, according to Rolling Stone).
McKagan’s book came out on May 12th, and it sounds like he’ll be writing another book soon. This time, though, he’d be writing a book for Alice in Chains, who might be working on a new album this summer.
