Max Cavalera of Soulfly, Greg Puciato of The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Mars Volta’s Dave Elitch and Mastodon’s Troy Sanders are in fact working together on a new project. According to UK’s Terrorizer, the yet-to-be-named supergroup has entered Fortress Studios in Los Angeles to start recording their first album, planned for release in 2014.
Various interviews had hinted at the uniting of the bands, but there was no clear indication of them producing music until Sanders confirmed in an interview that he would be spending studio time with the others.
