PROUD to say we have 98% of the equipment back! Wouldn’t have happened w/o the WDMPD, my wife and the goodness of people! Thank you! #trust

Earlier this week, Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor returned from a tour to find that over $35,000 in musical equipment had been stolen from him. At the time, it appeared that they knew who the person was, and some of the equipment had already been recovered at a guitar store. It turns out that the majority of the equipment has been recovered, as the above tweet states. In a separate tweet, he cleared up that the two basses stolen weren’t Paul Gray’s personal basses as previously reported, but signature models. At 206,000 people, Des Moines isn’t exactly a small town, but it seems like it was just small enough for people to pinpoint where the equipment is.
