Yesterday, Alice In Chains confused everyone by releasing an anagram of their upcoming album title on Facebook. While it would have been great if they just went ahead and named their album H V L E N T P S U S D A H I E E O E D T I U R R, that probably wouldn’t have sold as well, so they’ve decided to go with the even more catchy title The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. They’ve also honed in on when the new album will be out, which is sometime in May.
The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here will be the band’s second album with vocalist William DuVall, following 2009’s surprisingly awesome comeback Black Gives Way To Blue. While an official first single isn’t out yet, the band have released a song and video for “Hollow,” which is the #1 song on rock radio. Check out the creepy Stanley Kubrick-ian video for “Hollow” as well as the band’s tour dates, after the jump.
