So Idle Hands Bar is kind of the metal hangout in Manhattan (St. Vitus or Duffs if you’re in Brooklyn). And while it’s a popular go-to for after-parties and has a rock vibe in general, last month, we inaugurated a monthly night of metal at the bar. But that was a whole month ago, and now it’s Metal Injection’s turn! The MI crew will be at Idle Hands tonight, guest DJing and raising the general sort of hell that they tend to raise. That’s not all, though. It’s also a release party for Sierra Nevada beer. They’ve never been available in cans before, but as of tonight they will be, and this is the release party for them. You’ll be able to buy 12 oz cans of their Pale Ale and their Torpedo Extra IPA will be available in a 16 oz can. They’ll be cheap tonight too – only $5! And lastly, Children of Bodom are launching an interactive fan club along with the folks at Mobile Backstage. It’s also a release party for that. So come down and celebrate with Metal Injection, along with us and Metal Sucks. It’s your duty as a metal fan. Or beer fan.
