First, the unfortunate news: Chimaira frontman Mark Hunter came down with a severe stomach flu yesterday. Hunter was so ill that he actually went to the hospital and forced to miss the band’s show last night in Baltimore, MD. Hunter is reportedly feeling  better and will likely perform tonight in Philadelphia, PA.

However, fans in Baltimore were in for a special treat. Chimaira’s keyboardist/sampler Sean Zatorsky, also the singer in Daath, filled in for Hunter and handled vocals for the band’s set. It’s pretty cool to see Chimaira morph into Chimairaath even further (bassist Emil Wrestler is also the guitarist in Daath). You can watch fan filmed footage of the ban ripping through “Clockwork” with Sean on vocals above, while more clips can be seen after the jump.
