This coming Tuesday (October 11), Five Finger Death Punch will release their new album American Capitalist. We’ve already heard the first single “Under And Over It,” and though we’re only a few days away from the album’s actual release, we now can hear not one, but two new songs off American Capitalist.
First up, we have the premiere of “Generation Dead,” posted by Hot Topic via YouTube. This track is a little more commercial sounding than “Under And Over It” though still pretty catchy. The other song, “Back For More,” is being given away as a free download to those who pre-order the new album via iTunes, and is more in a similar vein as the first single.
So we may not be the biggest fans of FFDP, but after listening to the two new songs, it’s understandable why a lot of fans dig them. All three songs that we’ve heard from American Capitalist are catchy enough to get radio play, yet heavy enough to possibly get a few new fans hooked onto more aggressive acts (at least that’s what Hatebreed and All That Remains are hoping for with their upcoming tour).
That’s our take at least. Be the judge for yourselves and give “Generation Dead” a listen in the video above, while “Back For More” can be heard in the video below. You can also check out dates for FFDP’s Share The Welt tour with Hatebreed, All That Remains, and Rev Theory after the jump.
