All That Remains have announced former Unearth and As I Lay Dying’s Ken Susi as their new guitarist, replacing Jason Richardson, who left the band in July 2025. The move comes as the group prepares to return to touring later this month.
The band began teasing the addition over the weekend, sharing a short clip of a guitarist playing and asking fans to guess the new member, leading many to speculate that it was Susi before the official announcement. The guitarist is best known for his long tenure with Unearth, where he played from 1998 through 2023, contributing to seven studio albums. More recently, he spent time with As I Lay Dying from 2022 to 2024, and appeared on their 2024 album Through Storms Ahead, before the band’s mass exodus.
Susi now joins All That Remains as they move forward into their next chapter, taking over the role previously held by Richardson, who had joined the band following the death of guitarist Oli Herbert in 2018. Susi is set to make his live debut with the band when they return to the road this spring with support from Born of Osiris and Dead Eyes. Tickets are available at this location.
On Monday (12th), All That Remains and Susi shared the following joint statement:
“I’m incredibly honored to be joining All That Remains as their new guitarist. My connection to this band goes back to the late ’90s, when I first met Mike, Oli and Phil at underground shows in Western Massachusetts. Those early days shaped so much of who I am, and coming back together now truly feels full circle.
I’m also deeply honored to step in for my late friend Oli Herbert. Oli was not only an extraordinary musician, but a close friend whose presence and influence will always be felt. His shoes can never truly be filled, and I carry his spirit with me every time I pick up the guitar.
After decades of friendship, shared history, and mutual support, it means everything to get on stage with this band and contribute to a project I genuinely believe in. I can’t wait to hit the road and share what we’ve been working on with all of you.
See you out there.”
