Judas Priest have unveiled the special charity version of the Black Sabbath classic “War Pigs,” featuring the late Ozzy Osbourne. Released today (26th) via Sony Music, all proceeds go directly to The Glenn Tipton Parkinson’s Foundation and Cure Parkinson’s.
The collaboration was first envisioned as a tribute after Judas Priest were unable to perform at Black Sabbath’s Aston Villa show, but quickly evolved into a larger project with the blessing of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. The track features Glenn Tipton, who contributed guitar despite his ongoing battle with Parkinson’s, alongside Rob Halford and Ozzy trading vocals in a reimagining of the iconic song.
