Hulu has unveiled the first trailer for Into The Void: Life, Death & Heavy Metal, an eight-part docuseries premiering September 22, 2025. Created by Jason Eisner and Evan Husney, the team behind Dark Side of the Ring, the series dives into metal’s triumphs and tragedies through stories of murder, addiction, rebellion, and redemption.
Mixing archival footage with first-hand accounts, Into The Void examines the personal struggles behind the music, offering an intimate look at figures often misunderstood in the genre. Episodes spotlight Randy Rhoads, Judas Priest’s infamous trial, Death’s Chuck Schuldiner, Plasmatics’ Wendy O. Williams, Pantera’s Dimebag Darrell, Hellion’s Ann Boleyn, Iranian band Confess’ fight against facing the death penalty, and more.
