Nine Inch Nails have released a Maxime Quoilin-directed video for “As Alive As You Need Me To Be,” the lead single from their Tron: Ares soundtrack, out September 19 via Interscope. The track marks the band’s first official new music in five years.
The band is currently on their North American leg of their Peel It Back tour, which runs through September 18. During their performance in Philadelphia on August 27, headlines were made for a lighter reason: during “Head Like a Hole,” a fan in a full Santa suit crowd-surfed, causing frontman Trent Reznor to break character mid-song and burst into laughter, a rare moment in an otherwise intense performance.
