King Diamond kicked off their highly anticipated North American headlining tour, Saint Lucifer’s Hospital 1920, yesterday (15th) at Boeing Center in San Antonio, Texas. The tour, supported by Overkill and Night Demon, runs until December 6 in Dallas. During last night’s performance, King Diamond debuted two new tracks, “Spider Lilly” and “Electro Therapy.”
The band’s lineup features Andy La Rocque and Mike Wead on guitars, Pontus Egberg on bass, and Matt Thompson on drums, with special guest Myrkur providing additional vocals and keyboards. King Diamond’s first studio album in 18 years, The Institute, is slated for release in 2025 via Metal Blade as part of a two-part horror concept.
