The new single “Invictus” by the masters of Vltimas comes to crown the supremacy of David Vincent (ex-Morbid Angel), Rune Eriksen (ex-Mayhem), and Flo Mounier (Cryptopsy), who have reigned the underground for more than 30 years, joined by Dutch bassist Ype TVS (ex Dodecahedron) and Portuguese guitarist Joao Duarte (Corpus Christii). This single is the third song from their second album, Epic, which will be released on March 15 through Season of Mist and promises to be an album that will push the limits of extreme metal.

“Invictus” joins “Miserere” and “Scorcher” showing the way towards an album of a holistic nature with a unique sound expression as a result. In this single, you can hear the powerful nuances of each of the musicians who stand out for making death metal cleaner, faster, and colder than ever in a blasphemous melodic dissonance.
