Blink-182, One More Time… (Columbia): The band gets reflective on their ninth studio album, their first to feature Tom DeLonge since 2011.
Duff McKagan, Lighthouse (The World Is Flat): According to his website, the Guns N’ Roses bassist’s third solo album blends “acoustic elements and hard-edged rock & roll” for something that’s both reflective and energetic.
Knuckle Puck, Losing What We Love (Pure Noise): The aggressive pop-punk band’s fourth album is supposed to be darker and more honest than anything they’ve released before.
Ozric Tentacles, Lotus Unfolding (KScope): According to guitarist Ed Wynne, the instrumental band’s latest album is a “sonically illustrated excursion through some of the musical realms we found ourselves in this time around.”
Rival Sons, Lightbringer (Low Country Sounds/Atlantic): A companion album to the band’s June release Darkfighter. Singer Jay Buchanan told Consequence of Sound, “Darkfighter is a new Rival Sons, and Lightbringer is the clear definition of what we are now.”
The Rolling Stones, Hackney Diamonds (Geffen): The legendary rock band releases their first album of new material in 18 years.
Within Temptation, Bleed Out (Force Music): Postponed by the pandemic, the band continued writing and ended up being inspired by the war in Ukraine.
