BPMD, the supergroup featuring Bobby Blitz (Overkill), Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, Sons of Apollo), Mark Menghi (Metal Allegiance), and Phil Demmel (Vio-Lence, ex- Machine Head) have released a tribute video to the late Eddie Van Halen. The clip features the group’s Van Halen cover of “D.O.A.,” which is taken from the group’s debut full-length album consisting of ‘70s rock covers, American Made, which was released this past June via Napalm Records.
The band comments:
“The world lost an icon, innovator, showman, virtuoso, master songwriter and perhaps one of the biggest inspirations ever to learn how to play guitar. This video is meant to be a tribute to Ed, nothing more, and we hope you enjoy. We will always have Eddie in our hearts.”
