Metallica have been sharing footage revealing the members are rehearsing. We were curious if it meant a new album was on the way or a possible virtual tour. Today (10th), these metal legends have announced two appearances for this month. This Wednesday (12th), the band will make a virtual appearance on Howard Stern’s show. The group will be hanging at the Metallica HQ in Northern California, discussing all things metal with Howard. More information can be found on his website.

The group has also announced their first concert since S&M2, which was in September 2019, will be featured in the Encore Drive-In Nights series, with a full set screening August 29th at hundreds of drive-in and outdoor theaters across the United States and Canada. The group has been rehearsing in HQ for an event that will be professionally shot specifically for the drive-ins. Tickets go on sale this Friday (14th) and with a fifth member pre-sale on Wednesday (12th). Check out the theater listings at this location
