Mr. Bungle has shared an image on Twitter, which makes us believe (hope) they are working on new music. The photo suggests that members from the group’s recent touring lineup consisting of the original members Mike Patton, Trevor Dunn, Trey Spruance along with Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and Suicidal Tendencies/ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo, could be part of the recording sessions. However, nothing is entirely clear just yet. Whether this means it’s a brand new song or record, it has been over twenty years since the band’s latest full-length effort, 1999’s California.
Mr. Bungle recently wrapped up their first set of shows in twenty years as they performed their demo of The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny along with a number of covers.

For the mathematically challenged we played exactly 8 covers (2 of which were under 60 seconds) and 10 originals.
