Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

Woo boy, it’s been awhile since we saw such a swath of debuts, eighteen to be exact. The top debut this week, of course, is KoRn. Between their’s, Tool’s, and Slipknot’s new albums (and to a lesser extent Puddle Of Mudd), it makes you wonder if we’ve temporarily slipped back in the metal scene of the early to mid 2000’s. This will either make you nostalgic or bring up repressed memories if you’re the nu metal hating type.
