Do you have a record player? You should, since vinyl is making a comeback. Not to mention the fact that there’s been some great metal coming out on vinyl lately. Metal Club is helping out with that. Basically, they’re a collection of record stores that are taking the “record store day” concept and expanding it throughout the rest of the year, offering up exclusive vinyl and CDs for metal fans. They’re also going to give some awesome vinyl to a lucky Metal Insider reader.

Anthrax released a 25th anniversary edition of Fistful of Metal, their first album, on limited edition triple gatefold 10″ vinyl. It’s limited to 1,000 copies. The Sword have issued a 12″ hexagonal picture vinyl of “(The Night The Sky Cried) Tears of Fire” backed with the non-album track “Farstar.” There were only 3,000 of these bad boys made. You can win both of these and be the coolest kid on the block.

Don’t own a record player? You’ll still have rare keepsakes from two awesome bands.  To enter, just leave a comment in the section below stating the first vinyl you owned, We’ll pick a winner at random next Friday (19). Contest open to US residents only, and multiple entries will be disqualified.
