It’s been a few years since Deftones last album, Gore. Not only was it a nice return to form on the band’s third album since the passing of bassist Chi Cheng, but it was commercially successful as well. And while the band played a show earlier this month and will be playing some festival dates starting in May, it looks like they’re spending some of the time in between in the studio. Yesterday, the band posted several pictures of a studio, one of which included the hashtag #backatit. Will the band’s 9th album be out sometime this year? There’s no word from the band or their publicist so far other than these two photos, but we should know more before long.
