The announcement of bands featured in Guitar Hero has become an annual event at least on par with the release of touring festival lineups. It’s that time again as the full list for Guitar Hero 5 is out, and it’s the most metal edition of the franchise, by far.
I can just picture panicked parents writing letters after hearing their kids trying to sing along with Children of Bodom. Other notable inclusions are Darkest Hour, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Motley Crue, Public Enemy w/ Zakk Wylde, Queens of the Stone Age, Rammstein, Rush, Scars On Broadway, The Bronx, The Sword and Thrice. There’s plenty of really good and surprising non-metal stuff too. Hit the jump for the full list.
