It wasn’t too long ago that Trans-Siberian Orchestra promised their fans they will tour this winter in honor of the late Paul O’Neill, who suddenly died earlier this year from a prescription drug overdose at the age of 61. O’Neill was very much at the heart of TSO, producing the project and leading the band, which as developed into an annual touring juggernaut around the holidays. Today (16), they announced their 2017 Winter Tour, promising to perform The Ghosts of Christmas Eve, The Best of TSO, and more.

The group shared the following:

“Dear TSO Fans,

We are especially grateful to announce that we will hit the road again this winter to perform ‘The Ghosts of Christmas Eve’ the best of TSO and more!!

We appreciate the loyalty our fans have shown us throughout the years and we want to make sure you know how dedicated we are to you and the traditions we have created together.

If you are taking part in this year’s Fan Club Presale, we have a new process where Ticketmaster #VerifiedFan registration is now required so read below for instructions!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone this touring season!

Sincerely,

All of us from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra”

Additionally, the group are doing what they can to keep the tickets away from scalpers and bots with the new Ticketmaster #VerifiedFan experience:

“Each year we look for new ways to ensure that our fans have the best experience possible. Please read all the instructions below to make sure that you have access to our presale.

In an effort to keep tickets in the hands of the real fans, and out of the hands of scalpers and bots, we’ve partnered with Ticketmaster #VerifiedFan for our Fan Club presale. This unique, fan-first technology levels the playing field for everyone so fans get their tickets first.”

The Fan Club presale dates are from September 6th-8th and you can find that information here. Tickets go on sale to the public starting on September 15th at 10 AM local venue time. Not all tickets go on sale on the same day, check here for ticket updates.

Similar to last year’s groundbreaking sales trek, it looks like there are once again two separate touring units.
