TMZ has acquired a copy of Chester Bennington’s death certificate, confirming what we already know, the Linkin Park singer committed suicide with a belt. Within the last few weeks, musicians from all genres have been sharing their thoughts on social media and paying a tribute while on tour.
During Coldplay’s set last night (1) at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, frontman Chris Martin paid a heartfelt tribute. The singer performed a solo piano cover of Linkin Park’s “Crawling.” Mike Shinoda noticed this tribute for his former bandmate and shared it on his Instagram expressing that it, “sounded beautiful.”
However, there are people out there who seem to have lost their humanity and are more interested in taking profit out of the frontman’s death by selling items from his funeral for thousands of dollars. It appears Ebay has thankfully removed it but, theprp managed to grab a few screenshots:
