The Gainesville Sun reported a truck slammed into Adrenaline Mob’s RV on highway I-75. No names have been revealed, however, one person was killed and six have been injured earlier this afternoon. A tractor-trailer veered off of the interstate 75 and hit the band’s RV. Unfortunately, this accident involves a total of nine people in both vehicles. One is dead, six have been hospitalized, and two declined medical treatment. Three out of the six are in critical condition.
The truck driver was travelling from Atlanta to Orlando, refused to comment.
The Gainesville Sun also addressed:
“The FHP was still investigating Friday evening. So far, troopers believe that the RV and the van, which was pulling the enclosed trailer, had pulled off southbound I-75 onto the west shoulder. The van and the RV were traveling together. The RV had a flat tire, so both vehicles pulled off the highway.
The truck driver, for unknown reasons, veered off I-75 and struck the RV, which caught fire, the patrol said.”
The group were headed to their gig at the State Theatre in Saint Petersburg, Florida, which is now cancelled. The venue shared the following message:
“We regret to inform You that Adrenaline Mob’s performance tonight at the State has been canceled due to the band being involved in an accident. Our thoughts are with them for a speedy recovery.
Refunds are available at point of purchase.
In the spirit of the music, the locals will be going on, and door tickets will be discounted to $10.”
Hopefully, we will receive an update from the band. Our thoughts are with them during this horrific time.
