Did you see Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 over the weekend? You probably did, as it made a ridiculous $145 million this weekend. And given that people really enjoyed it, some will probably go back to see it again. And if you’re a Mindless Self Indulgence fan, you probably noticed Jimmy Urine with a pretty sizable part in the film. What you might not have noticed, however, was that Charred Walls of the Damned drummer Richard Christy (who’s also played in Iced Earth and Death and is a producer on The Howard Stern Show) was also in the film.
He spoke about it on Monday morning’s show:
“I’m a ravager. It’s awesome!” he told Howard Monday morning. “I have a line, too,” he added, revealing that his character yells: “Down there!”
In Tweeting about it, Christy had a response from director James Gunn, who’s been a fan of Christy’s since he heard him getting waxed on the Stern show.
10 years ago I heard @cwotd get his privates waxed on @sternshow & had to pull over from laughing. I knew then I needed to put him in a film https://t.co/JPExz5XFvD
