We really thought that Metallica’s cover of “For Whom the Bell Tolls” on bells was going to be the most ridiculous thing we posted on the site this week. And it totally was – until now. Pete Cottrell has covered Megadeth’s “Symphony of Destruction” on eggs. Really, what the eggs are mainly used for is percussion, eggs being smashed, broken, whisked and fried add to the sound. It’s  technically kind of cheating a little bit, since Cadbury Creme Eggs and a tin that says “eggs” on it are also used, but if you didn’t actually see what was going on, you probably wouldn’t notice that it wasn’t a straight ahead cover. Rob Lundgren helps out on vocals, and it’s all pretty egg-cellent. Sorry.
