It’s been a few weeks since we got confirmation about drummer master Dave Lombardo taking part of Suicidal Tendencies recording session of their new studio album World Gone Mad. We already heard how Suicidal Tendencies sound with Lombardo on the kit and we can’t stress enough how much sense it makes and now, we can get a taste of what they’ve been working on together.
The first single of the new album is titled “Clap Like Ozzy” which obviously refers to Mr. Osbourne and his signature clapping on stage. The song also has an excellent cross-over tune bringing back some of that traditional Suicidal Tendencies sound we had back in the 80’s. The production quality also brings out a lot of Lombardo’s playing and we can’t deny that we love what we’re hearing right here so we can only hope the rest of the record will be as great as this track.
