iphoneIf you have an iPhone like most people do (or at least have in the past), you know what the chirpy default ring-tones sounds like. So does self-proclaimed video game guitarist and YouTuber ToxicxEternity. So instead of covering a video game theme song, he’s done a shreddy version of some of the iPhone ringtones. It’s essentially a medley of the “opening” ringtone, with “silk” thrown in. It’s not midi enough for anyone to mistake them for actual ring tones, but there are enough guitar layers for you to mistake it for power metal. It’s all very well-done – enough so that you might forget about it until his version of the “silk” ringtone comes in before ending with “opening” again. You can even download an MP3 of it if you’re into that sort of thing.
