For the past three years, there’s one thing that fans of Metallica and the San Francisco Giants can look forward to, and that’s the annual Metallica Night that the club holds. Of course, this year’s no exception, and the fourth annual ‘Metallica Night’ will take over AT&T Park in San Francisco, CA on May 6th when the Giants host the Colorado Rockies. Just a chance to see Metallica throw out the first pitch and play the national anthem ,as they’ve done before, is reason enough to go for most ‘Tallica fans. However, this year, they’re throwing in a collectible of their skull creature guy, aka Scary Guy.
There’s also a VIP experience available that will benefit the Surfrider Foundation. This will be the first time they’ve done a VIP experience, and it will get you a Q&A panel with Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo as well as professional surfers Benji Weatherly and Dylan Graves. The two-hour pregame will also get you complimentary food and beverage and a limited edition Metallica- themed Giants surfboard desktop item signed by Kirk and Robert. Interested? Go here.
