Ozzy-OsbourneThis past Saturday marked the 34th anniversary of the tragic passing of Randy Rhoads. and while Ozzy Osbourne’s original guitarist isn’t with us any more, his music will live on forever. Take, for example, “Over the Mountain.” The first track from Diary of a Madman is one of his standout tracks that’s stood the test of time. So much so that it even holds up given a Ska makeover by Andy Rehfeldt, who took some time off from doing metal versions of The Weeknd’s “The Hills” and easy listening versions of Metallica songs to do a ska version of “Over the Mountain.” As usual, it’s so well done that it works as a song on its own, and it’s synced perfectly to footage of vintage Ozzy. Would we listen to a full Ska-zy Osbourne album? Sure, we’d pick it up, pick it up, pick it up.
