If you happen to be in Austin, TX for SXSW you have an endless list of cool bands to catch, so how about adding a free Deftones show while you’re there?

Deftones announced a free performance at the SXSW outdoor stage at Lady Bird Lake for today, Thursday 17th, because they’re cool like that and because why not? All you have to do is sign up for a guest pass right here and you’re good to go. This show is in addition to their already  scheduled Spin’s 14th Annual day party along with Chvrches on the 18th.

Just to bring you up to speed with the band, the Cali boys are set to release their newest album Gore this coming April 8th. and you can get a taste of it with “Doomed User” and “Prayers/Triangles.” Make sure to place your pre-orders right here.
