Leaving vague hints and tips about any sort of announcement is a common thing in the industry to create hype and speculation among the fans, so when an inactive band posts something like the picture Bleeding Through posted last week on their Facebook, many would naturally assume that the band was getting ready to be back in action. Sadly, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Bleeding Through has been inactive for a bit and many of their members went on their merry way to continue with their music projects but after posting the picture below, many thought the band was ready to reunite.
Sadly, after 2 days of people getting excited about the news and blogs speculating the seemingly clear picture, the band decided to post the following statement:
JUST SO YOU KNOW!!!! BT is playing a show to help raise money for our friends in The Ghost Inside pay for medical bills. Friends have each other’s backs. BT is not getting back together anytime in the foreseeable future. This is about our friends needing help. We hope that people support this show and help raises funds for TGI. This is not an attempt at a comeback. I feel BT gave enough.
Thank you
Brandan
Sorry to burst your bubble but it seems to be a one-time-thing reunion and then the band will go back to being on hiatus. On the other hand, it’s good to see this sort of camaraderie from them to help their friends in The Ghost Inside, who suffered a terrible accident a few weeks ago. If you’re interested on that benefit show, we’ll let you know more about it as soon as we find out.
