worldsloudestmonthIt’s been an interesting year in the world of concerts and touring. The demise of the Mayhem Fest will probably be the biggest touring story of 2015 as far as hard rock and metal are concerned. But perhaps an overlooked story is the success of destination festivals, such as Rock on the Range, Welcome to Rockville and Rocklahoma. And while the artists for the eight concerts starting on April 30 and ending on May 29 collectively known as the World’s Loudest Month haven’t been announced yet, the dates have been. This year, the events pulled in more than 426,000 fans, so they’re looking to make things even bigger next year, according to AEG Live’s Joe Litvag:

“You said you wanted more, and we heard you loud and clear. More days, more bands, more stages, more art, more food…And a few special surprises, too!  We can’t wait for spring to get here!”

Both Rocklahoma and Rock on the Range will celebrate their 10th anniversaries next year. If you’re planning on going to Rock on the Range, you can buy layaway packages now. VIP and hotel packages will be available next Monday (16) at Rock on the Range. The lineup will be announced for Welcome to Rockville and Fort Rock on Monday, December 7. Here are the dates for the festivals:
