If you’re a fan of the TLC show 19 Kids and Counting or seeing hypocrites getting their comeuppance, no doubt you’ve been following along with case of Josh Duggar. The reality show member, was found to have molested five girls (four of them his sisters) and resigned from the show back in May. Two years prior, he was named the executive director of the Family Research Council, a conservative lobbying group. At any rate, with hackers exposing the names of those registered on Ashley Madison, a website to help people cheat, Duggar’s name became the first high profile person to be named as someone that had an account. His secret out in the open, he’s admitted it and called himself the “biggest hypocrite ever.”
Things get a little more interesting, however, thanks to Gawker. They found that if you searched Duggar’s Ashley Madison email handle, “joesmithsonnwa,” an OK Cupid profile came up that looked like it could be his. While it obviously wasn’t him in the profile pic, the picture was of a guy wearing a pretty distinct Hatebreed shirt. The shirt in question is a take off of Metallica’s Kill em All album, with the ‘Breed’s logo stripped in over Metallica’s. It’s since been found that the picture, which comes up pretty easily if you search “random guy” on Google image search, is a male model who lives in L.A. But if you were in the DC area in 2014 and met a Hatebreed fan on OK Cupid that looked nothing like his profile, now you know why. And you also might have went on a date with a kid touching hypocrite. The profile has since been deleted as Duggar’s life continues to crumble.
