Paschalis Theotokis must have had a lot of time on his hands. That’s the only suggestion we can come up for why the guy strapped on a Guitar Hero Gibson, a wig, and sang/played through a snippet of just about every Metallica song that exists in a Megalyric video. We say “just about every” for a few reasons. First of all, nothing from Lulu is on it. And secondly, while the video says “99 Metallica Song Lyrics in 10 minutes,” “Call of Kthulu,” “Orion” and “Suicide and Redemption” are instrumentals.

You’ve still got to give him credit, though. He includes non-album songs from Metallica like “I Disappear” from the Mission Impossible II soundtrack and the songs from S&M, and even throws in “The Lords of Summer.” Plus, when the band cut their hair for Load, he gets rid of the wig. And the room is backlit for each of the albums, with it being red for Master of Puppets, blue for Ride the Lightning, etc. It’s pretty welll done, if kind of goofy. Here’s what he has to say about the Megalyric video on YouTube:

Metallica will always be one of my all-time favorite bands and James Hetfield inspires me as a singer/rhythm guitarist. So, I thought it would be cool to mess around with his role through their 30+ years career; tried to get as close to his stage appearance as possible tho. Had lot of fun while shooting/editing this “MEGALYRIC” video. Hope you guys dig it.
