In a little more than a week, Kill Devil Hill will be releasing their sophomore album, Revolution Rise. Nothing less than a supergroup, KDH has former Pantera/Down bassist Rex Brown, former Dio, Black Sabbath and Heaven and Hell drummer Vinny Appice, and ex-Pissing Razors vocalist Dewey Bragg. The only way the group, which is rounded out by guitarist Mark Zavon, could be more all-star is by adding more famous people. And that’s exactly what they did for the album’s opening track, “No Way Out,” which has a guest solo from Black Label Society’s Zakk Wylde. Here’s what Brown had to say about the song:
You can just hear the smoke coming off Zakk’s fret board on this track – we just knew it had to be the opening track.
Metal Insider is proud to bring you “No Way Out,” one of the heaviest songs on the album. There will be a different song from the album premiered each day on various sites, leading up to the album’s release next Tuesday, so while you’ve heard “Crown of Thorns” and “Why” already, you’ll be able to sample the whole album by going to the band’s Facebook page. You can pre-order the album via CM Distro or from the band’s online store.
