Death To All, the tribute to the late Chuck Schuldiner and the legendary band Death, will return to North America this November for The Symbolic Healing tour. The run will celebrate two of Death’s landmark albums: Spiritual Healing (35th anniversary) and Symbolic (30th anniversary). The lineup features Gene Hoglan, Steve DiGiorgio, Bobby Koelble, and Max Phelps, all paying tribute to Death’s legacy. Special guests Gorguts and Phobophilic will join the trek.
Holgan comments:
“The time has come to commemorate a couple of milestones in the DEATH catalog. 30 years of Symbolic and 35 years of Spiritual Healing! Two vastly different yet very important eras of DEATH. Both albums are going to be a blast to represent. Will Spiritual Healing and Symbolic be performed in their entirety like last year’s sold-out Scream of Perseverance tour? Well, everyone is going to have to catch these shows for themselves to see. Will it be an incredible night of unforgettable metal, honoring the great Chuck Schuldiner, as only Death To All can do? Of course it will. Death To All stands alone.”
Gorguts vocalist/guitarist Luc Lemay adds:
“It’s with great honor that we’ll be sharing the stage with these death metal monuments. DEATH had such an important influence on me as an artist. It’s the band that made me want to become a death metal musician. Chuck was my idol, my inspiration. See you on stage. Be prepared for an evening of classic death metal!”
Holgan concludes:
“This will be an unforgettable tour, indeed. We can’t wait to share these November nights with all of you.”
