1) Holy Wars… The Punishment Due

If you ask any casual metal listener about a Megadeth track, chances are they may mention “Symphony of Destruction” due to its popularity in mainstream media. But any avid fan of the band knows that “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due” could be considered Megadeth’s  best track, not just from this record, but from their entire catalog. “Holy Wars…” pushes the musical abilities of any musician aspiring to perform the iconic track and we’re not just talking about Friedman and Mustaine’s guitar work but Menza’s drumming. Paying close attention to the drum track, it’s easy to notice the detailed arrangement crafted by Nick to fit the epic songwriting.
