04) Atavistia welcome new bassist Spencer Budworth

Canada’s melodic/symphonic death metal outfit Atavistia have announced Spencer Budworth (Death Machine) as their new bassist and backing vocalist. The news follows the split with D’wayne Murray who left the group in early January. 

The band shared the following statement: 

“It was a sad day when D’wayne Murray announced his departure from ATAVISTIA. He’ll still be around and we wish him all the best in his endeavours. Spencer was the obvious choice to bring into the band. His skills on bass and his vocal range will be a powerhouse of symphonic destruction through chaos.”

Spencer adds:

“It is an absolute honour to be joining the lads in ATAVISTIA. The decision was easy and seemed like a natural next step. To be joining a group with such extensive plans and ambitions is a dream come true. I’m especially excited to share rhythm with Max, who is an absolute monster on the kit. There are big things coming with this project and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it.”
