Metal Insider’s Top 10 Albums Of 2012

Posted by on December 18, 2012

1. Gojira, L’Enfant Sauvage (Roadrunner)

L’Enfant Sauvage easily topped Metal Insider’s combined list… EASILY. Not only did it appear on five out of seven of our contributors’ lists (and one “honorable mention”), but was also named the #1 album by two contributors (and appeared in the top 5 of the other three lists). Marking the band’s debut on Roadrunner Records, Gojira made an album that not only won over new and older fans. Daniel declared it as “truly a great listening experience,” while Zach went as far to say that L’Enfant Sauvage is “quite possibly created the most exciting and refreshing sounding metal album of 2012.”
