Our good friends at Metal Sucks have been teasing us for the past two weeks (no seriously, they keep calling us to say “Na, na, na, na, na. We’ve got something awesome planned and we aren’t telling you!”). Last night, though, Metal Sucks finally revealed what they’ve been planning: an unprecedented two day festival.

That’s right, the website is organizing their very own festival called The Metal Suckfest. The event will be held at NYC’s Gramercy Theatre on November 4 and 5, and will feature 20 bands on its bill. So far, we only know that Municipal Waste will headline the first night, while Cynic will close out the second night. However, Metal Sucks promises that the rest of the bill will be made up of bands that normally wouldn’t appear on the same stage, and that it’s not just a bunch of tours already in progress converged into one festival. Seeing how different the festival’s two headliners are, we take Axl and Vince’s word on that.

More details about the rest of the festival’s bands, as well as information about purchasing tickets, will be revealed in the coming weeks.
