The first guitarist to appear on an Ozzy Osbourne studio album following Rhoads’ death, Lee joined Osbourne’s band for 1983’s Bark at the Moon and 1986’s The Ultimate Sin, both of which feature some signature Ozzy songs. The Ultimate Sin in particular is one of Ozzy’s most underrated album, with “Shot in the Dark” and the title track as standouts. Lee went on to form the criminally-overlooked Badlands, and is working on a solo album now. He’d also logged time in a pre-Ratt band called Mickey Rat, and Rough Cutt and Dio before joining up with Ozzy.
