4. Queens Of The Stone Age, “Feel Good Hit of the Summer”
Who needs sunshine and the beach when you’ve got nicotine, valium, vicodin, marijuana, ecstacy and alcohol? Those are pretty much the only lyrics on the first track of Queens of the Stone Age’s sophomore album, Rated R (also “cocaine”). Sung like a mantra, perhaps because some of those substances were involved in the creation of said song, there’s also a chorus of others assisting Josh Homme, Nick Oliveri and friends. One of them is Rob Halford, which makes it an instant entry on this list.
