Axl Rose may be just as known for onstage freakouts as he is for not showing up onstage. One of the more famous incidents, though, occurred in St. Louis in the summer of 1991. Noticing a fan in the crowd tape recording the show, Axl demanded security to “take” the audience member out. When security failed to do so, Axl took care of business himself by jumping into the crowd and attacking the individual. Upon returning onstage, Rose decalred “Well, thanks to the lame ass security, I’m going home,” before smashing his microphone and leaving the stage midway through the set. This led to a riot and Rose’s arrest for inciting the incident. And just like his good pal Bach, it didn’t help that video of the altercation was caught on film.
