The Motley Crue biopic, “The Dirt”, has found a home with Focus Reatures according to the Hollywood Reporter. As previously reported, Jeff Tremaine, who has worked on the series of Jackass movies, will be directing the film.
Said Tremaine on working with the band,
“‘The Dirt’ is a movie I’ve wanted to make ever since I read the book in 2002. I relate to the story on so many levels; my whole professional career has been about boys behaving badly, so I have a real connection to the material. It’s awesome to be working with the band at such an exciting time in Motley Crue’s history.”
Tommy Lee talked about the script for the film last spring, saying, “How the hell are we gonna rate this thing? Triple R?” It’ll be interesting to see what actors get hired to represent the band in the movie.
