uncleacidWith the release of their third album last year, Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats made a lot of top ten lists and even more new fans. The British psychedelic/doom band’s first album to be distributed in America (via Rise Above/Metal Blade) combined ’70s-influenced grooves with dark lyrics, and it culminated in their first appearance in North America, at the Maryland Deathfest earlier this year. Now they’re coming back and doing a proper US/Canada tour. Tickets for the September/October tour go on sale this Friday (27) and will find the band joined by Danava. Here’s what Uncle Acid had to say about the tour:

“Deadbeats of North America! We’re very pleased to announce our first tour of the U.S. and Canada. It’s been a long time coming but we’re looking forward to finally destroying your minds!”
