Mark Hunter promised us a new Chimaira album this year, with the band even treating fans to a new song live and a few teasers. Now we know that Chimaria’s new album will be called Crown Of Phantoms and come out on July 30 via eOne Music. However, Chimaira also announced the launch of an Indiegogo campaign to help fund a special deluxe edition of the album.

Essentially, Chimaira is asking fans to help them fund two in-depth narrative music videos, a documentary about the album’s making, seven additional tracks for the deluxe issue, and a handful of other pretty cool extras. In case you need a little more convincing, though, the band also released a video short featuring a tied up and bloodied Hunter getting tortured by Sean Zatorsky (with his best Russian villain accent). If Mark doesn’t give fans this special deluxe edition of the new album, Dr. Z is gonna give it to him with a buzz saw!

Check out Chimaira’s video pitch, which also includes a snippet of new music, below. Chimaira has given fans 45 days to help raise their $30,000 goal. Head over to the band’s Iniegogo page to donate and see what cool packages they are offering.
