Note to those in Philadelphia: chances are you have the best shot of seeing John Baizley onstage nowadays. This past Sunday night (January 20), the Baroness frontman and guitarist Peter Adams performed an intimate opening set for Neurosis at the Union Transfer in Philadelphia. This comes a few weeks after Baizley performed his first solo set following the horrifying bus accident, and just a day after he joined Converge onstage (both of which took place in the city of brotherly love).

Fan filmed footage of the five song set of reworked songs have made its way online. Watch Baizley and Adams perform “Steel That Sleeps The Eye” above, while more clips can be seen after the jump. It’s great to see more members of Baroness slowly making a return to the stage.
