Apparently, it’s not so easy to smuggle rotting animal carcasses into America. Swedish black metal trio Watain will be sitting out the first four dates of the Decibel Magazine Tour, which starts tomorrow (11). Actually, it’s visa problems that are causing the band to miss the Columbus OH, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and St. Paul dates. They’ll be joining the tour on Monday, April 16 at the Granada Theater in Lawrence KS. Behemoth, the Devil’s Blood and In Solitude will play the first four shows without Watain.

“It’s not the first time the law stands in our way trying to prevent us from doing our work, and just like all the previous times it will lay broken and humiliated eventually,” Watain’s Erik Danielsson commented in a statement. “We are content we will be victorious, meanwhile we ask all our U.S. supporters to have patience and prepare themselves for the coming of Watain!”

Dates of the Decibel Magazine tour are after the jump. Remember, the first four won’t be featuring Watain.
