God Forbid have been keeping busy in the studio working on their follow up to 2009’s Earthsblood and first via new label home Victory Records. And their only live performance last year was at the Metal Suckfest last November. But now the New Jersey metal group is getting ready for what promises to be a big year for them with two newly announced East Coast dates, where they promise to be premiering some new material.
In regards to their upcoming headlining gigs in February, God Forbid guitarist Doc Coyle had to the following to say:
“With only one show in 2011 and 2 months spent in the recording studio, we have been itching to get out and play. We thought it would be a great idea to get into an intimate setting in our area for the real GF fans. Expect to hear some new songs and some old cuts that haven’t played in a while. 2012 will be a great year!”
Though only two shows have been booked so far, chances are there’s more to come as God Forbid’s new album is expected to come out early this year. You can check God Forbid’s newly announced East Coast dates below.
